Dunner leads Texas over Louisiana, 6-2

Texas' Ryan Dunner had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-2 win over Louisiana.
Dunner found the back of the net 6:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Texas and again while 18:50 into the second to make the score 3-1 Texas.
Texas also got points from Kyle Galloway, who also had one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Texas included Victor Ekk, Kyle Torgerson, and Oliver Hay, who each put in one. More assists for Texas came via Jacob Elrod, who had two and Sean McAndrews, Brock Brown,Chase Deacon, and George Hansen, who contributed one each.
Louisiana put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Texas to score on any of its three power plays. Louisiana did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 12 shots on net to force 10 saves.
Louisiana was helped by Brayden Hutchinson, who registered one goal. Hutchinson scored short handed 14:47 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Louisiana found itself down a man on Ian Hale's roughing. Mitch Dolese also scored for Louisiana. In addition, Louisiana received assists fromJacob Istre and Tucker Alspaugh, who each chipped in one.
Texas' Tyler Myers stopped 10 shots out of the 12 that he faced. Texas incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Louisiana incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
