The Louisiana Drillers, a year-old program in the NA3HL, will be offering a great opportunity to graduating seniors and junior class players with an interest in continuing their hockey career. Attached you will find a flyer that speaks to the specifics about the Elite Junior Hockey Camp on May 31-June 2 at the Subway Sports Centre in Anchorage.
We have a strong ownership group, and Head Coach Kevin Kaminski has a tremendous resume and is committed to the development of each player. As we look to identify players that fit into their organization, we see the state of Alaska as having a strong talent pool of players who possess the skills to play at the next level. We currently have two area players signed for this coming season and through attendance at this camp, we hope that can increase over the next couple of years.
Coaches, Players and Rinks, we would ask that you distribute this information to those players who you believe have an interest in playing junior hockey over the next couple years. We could use your help in getting this information out as we can make the Driller's first camp a success and ensure that current and future players recognize that if they're willing to put in the effort there is an opportunity for them to continue to play hockey at a high-level upon graduation.
The Elite Junior Hockey Camp will be attended by the Melville Millionaires of the SJHL, the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL and the Louisiana Drillers of the NA3HL. During this camp, you will hear from former NHLer and current Drillers Coach, Kevin "Killer" Kaminski and a presentation on the SJHL from Rob Fiola. Spots are limited, so sign up fast.
